This year’s India Day Parade, themed “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah – A Global Initiative for Universal Well-Being”, marks the 43rd annual celebration of Indian Independence and is recognized as the world’s largest India Day Parade. The event will take place on Sunday, August 17, 2025, along Madison Avenue, New York City, bringing together more than 100,000 members of the Indian diaspora along with visitors from across the globe.
For over four decades, the FIA India Day Parade has been a symbol of unity, cultural pride, and heritage for the Indian-American community. With over 50 marching groups, 40 colorful floats, and 45 food and cultural booths, the parade transforms Madison Avenue into a vibrant showcase of India’s diversity—featuring traditional dances, regional arts, Bollywood celebrities, cricket icons, civic leaders, and community voices. The event has historically been broadcast by global media networks and viewed by more than 4 million people across 53 countries.
